An Update on One Direction's Upcoming "Where We Are" Tour

As we get closer to turning the pages on the month of March, we are also getting closer to One Direction’s 2014 “Where We Are” Stadium Tour.  The boy band will begin touring North America beginning in August with two stops at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, and will wrap everything up at SunLife Stadium in Miami on October 5th.  For those individuals interested in purchasing One Direction tickets for the tour, here’s a brief rundown on which shows are going to cost you the most, and which shows have some pretty good bargains.

In terms of average ticket price, the most expensive North American show is the open on August 1st in Toronto.  According to Razorgator, the average ticket price is currently $488 with a little over 10,000 tickets available on the secondary market.  Though the average price is so high, the get-in price is a much more reasonable $65, so Toronto fans don’t have to break the bank to see their favorite boys play.

Another high priced show is at the Bank of Oklahoma Center on September 23rd.  Since the BOK Center holds significantly less people than a large football stadium, the quantity is much smaller and is thereby driving price up.  The average ticket price is currently $487 with a get-in price of $170.

If you’re looking for some bargains for the upcoming “Where We Are Tour,” there’s certainly plenty to be had.  The cheapest show by average price is August 17th at Ford Field with an average ticket price of $170.  The get-in price is $49, so not a huge drop off from the Rogers Centre performance.  Another comparatively cheap show is August 14th at Lincoln Financial Field with an average ticket price of $191 and a get in price of only $50.  Shows at Gillete Stadium (August 9th) and LP Field (August 19th) also have get in prices below $50, so those are the concerts to check out if you’re on a budget.

We’ll keep you updated on One Direction’s upcoming tour and so make sure to find your way back to our blog whenever you can!
