The Boston Celtics are still in the rebuilding stages but did earn a playoff spot, surprisingly, last year earning the No. 7 seed in a weak Eastern Conference.  However, despite the early exit from the playoffs at the hands of the Cavaliers, the best basketball may be yet to come for the Boston Celtics.  The team has a talented young core of players mixed in with some veterans such as forwards Amir Johnson and David Lee.  A return trip to the playoffs is expected from these Celtics, but just how far can they go remains the question.  Below are the top five Celtics tickets on the secondary market on TicketIQ.

Very rare now that Boston’s top priced game of the season doesn’t feature LeBron James, but the Celtics most expensive game will involve the defending NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors, who come to TD Garden on December 11.  Celtics tickets for this matchup are going for an average price of $170.48 on the secondary market, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $68.

12/15/15 vs Cleveland Cavaliers | Avg. Price: $168.85 | Get-in Price: $69

Following their meeting with the Warriors, the Celtics’ next home game will be against the Cleveland Cavaliers who come into town on December 15.  LeBron and his crew easily defeated the Boston Celtics in a sweep causing a first round exit to the Celtics.  Cavaliers vs Celtics tickets for this game have a secondary average price of $168.85, with the cheapest ticket to get in priced at $69.

The Los Angeles Clippers had a solid offseason, convincing DeAndre Jordan to return and acquired one of Boston’s most notable players in their franchise Paul Pierce.  Paul Pierce will return to his old stomping grounds along with the Clippers on February 10.  Celtics tickets in this game are on average $156.60 on the secondary market, with a get in price of $51.

It almost seems like a lifetime ago when the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics were the two elite teams in the league competing against each other for championships.  Now both teams have been in rebuilding stages over the past couple seasons, but the Celtics at the moment seem to have more upside as Kobe Bryant is nearing the end of a great career with the Lakers.  The Celtics host the Lakers on December 30 and tickets have an average price of $155.43, with a get-in price of $60.

The Chicago Bulls just can’t catch as break with more bad news for the team as Derrick Rose suffered an orbital bone injury in practice that will require surgery. At the time, it is unclear how much time the former league MVP could miss.  The Celtics welcome the Bulls at the TD Garden on January 22 and tickets will go for an average price of $139.87 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $41.
