As Britney Spears Announces Vegas Residency Extension, Take a Look at Her Average Setlist
While the show may be called Piece of Me, all of Britney Spears will be staying in Las Vegas. Spears announced during a show last week that she will extend her Vegas residency into 2016. Spears was quoted by E! during the show saying, "I'm not ready to leave Vegas yet! And I just really really love this show and this city. I'm so proud of the show, and my band, my dancers and my crew have all become such a family to me. When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn't imagine ending my residency at the end of this year."
Other details for the extension are not yet known, but the announcement is not much of a surprise considering Spears’ show has been a hit at The Axis at Planet Hollywood. On the secondary market, Britney Spears tickets have an average price of $208.07 on the secondary market. The cheapest tickets for these shows typically range from $90-$100 on the secondary market, and it’s likely to continue that pace into next year.
Spears also noted there are some changes planned for the new dates, with possible adjustments to the setlist, costumes and props.
