Flyers 2015-16 Schedule Highlighted By Two Games Against Pittsburgh

October 8, 2015

The Philadelphia Flyers are coming off a down season, finishing sixth in the metropolitan division failing to the make the playoffs.  However the disappointment of last season didn’t shake the confidence of owner Ed Snider, who boldly predicts his Flyers will be back in the playoffs this season.  But looking at their current roster which will return mostly the same team from last season, it’s certainly not too promising just how much noise the Flyers can make in the Metro division.  Their biggest change is the bench and the Flyers still possess depth up front with two top 15 scorers from last season.  Offense is not the problem, but the defense is aging and expensive and with little production to show for.  Below are the top five secondary market Flyers tickets on TicketIQ.

3/19/16 vs Pittsburgh Penguins | Avg. Price: $200.83 | Get-in Price: $65

The Flyers’ top priced game of the season at Wells Fargo Center is not until March 19 of 2016 when the Flyers host their division rivals the Pittsburgh Penguins who are featured in two of the top five Flyers games this season.  Tickets for the March 19 game at Wells Fargo Center have an average price of $200.83, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $65.

4/9/16 vs Pittsburgh Penguins | Avg. Price: $200.52 | Get-in Price: $57

While Penguins had a more successful campaign last season clinching playoff berth, the Penguins have to be wondering why they haven’t been able to defeat the Flyers the past couple seasons.  The Flyers swept the season series last year and coming into the new season are riding on an eight-game winning streak against the rival.  The Flyers host the Penguins on April 9 at Wells Fargo Center and tickets have an average price of $200.52, with cheapest ticket to get in priced at $57.

1/16/16 vs New York Rangers | Avg. Price: $174.61 | Get-in Price: $60

The New York Rangers are also featured in two of the top five Flyers games this season and their January 16 meeting in Philadelphia is their second meeting in Philly with tickets going for an average price of $174.61 on the secondary market, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $60.

2/6/16 vs New York Rangers | Avg. Price: $174.21 | Get-in Price: $54

In the second game featuring the New York Rangers, Flyers tickets are almost identical in price but still slightly below the January 16 game at an average price of $174.21 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $54.  The Rangers took three of four from the Flyers last season, including three wins last November alone.

4/2/16 vs Ottawa Senators | Avg. Price: $166 | Get-in Price: $42
