Green Bay Packers vs Denver Broncos Tickets Are Most Expensive For 2015 Regular Season

Sports Authority Field

There have never been five NFL teams to reach the start of Week 8 with an undefeated record in the same season, until 2015. The New England Patriots will take that unbeaten streak into Week 9 after a dominating win against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night football, but one undefeated streak will end this week when the 6-0 Denver Broncos take on the 6-0 Green Bay Packers in Denver on Sunday night.

The game was always going to be one of the biggest draws during the regular season, just by the nature of the teams and star power of the quarterbacks alone. Now with the added layer of unbeaten vs unbeaten, Packers vs Broncos tickets are the most expensive for a regular season NFL game this season on the secondary market. The current average price for the game is $705.25, the only game to exceed a $700 average. The get-in price is $322.

Both teams are 6-0, having already served a bye, but there have been some struggles along the way. Green Bay’s running game has not been as expected behind Eddie Lacy, and James Starks has been the better player so far this season. The Denver defense has been the best unit in the league, but it has had to carry the offense, which has struggled both on the ground and through the air.

Denver still has six remaining home games, having only played twice at Sports Authority Field through the first seven weeks. That could help as the Broncos move forward to the playoffs, and those home games will also bring big prices on the secondary market. The third most expensive remaining game of the regular season will also be played at Mile High, when Tom Brady and the Patriots come to play in Week 12. The current average price for the game is $653.96, with a get-in price of $253. Outside of the matchup against Green Bay, the game is only exceeded by a meeting between Washington and New England in Week 9 at Gillette Stadium with an average of $685.71.

Green Bay will then be the road team in the next most expensive game, against the also unbeaten Carolina Panthers next week. Panthers vs Packers tickets at Bank of America Stadium currently have an average price of $589.21.
