After finding success with sextet yMusic at Lincoln Center last year, singer-songwriter José González is again collaborating with the band for a full fledged tour this spring. The group will hit the road in support of Gonzalez's latest album, Vestiges & Claws, playing 16 shows in the U.S. in March.
González expressed his excitement in a press release earlier this week. “After a year of touring with a band focused on percussion and vocals I look forward to playing many of the same songs in a different style. I’m very excited to go on tour with yMusic! I love their setup and taste in arrangements, being six super talented musicians playing strings, flute, clarinet, and trumpet, it feels like it opens us up from sounding energetic and avant-garde to classic and delicate.”
An exclusive pre-sale will be available for those who download the Live Nation iPhone app beginning Thursday, November 12 at 10 a.m. The general public on sale will start Friday, November 13 at 11 a.m. Check out the complete list of dates below:
