Def Leppard Launch Joint Tour with Styx and Tesla Tonight, Tickets Nearing $200 Average on Secondary Market

(UPDATE 1/27/16) Three powerhouse bands will join forces for a short stretch of tour dates beginning tonight. Def Leppard, Styx and Tesla kick off their 2016 co-headlining tour together in North Carolina, and fans will be paying big prices for tickets on the secondary market across the three-week affair.

According to TicketIQ the average price for tickets is now $177.39 over the 13 scheduled dates. The most expensive show will be held on February 5 at American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX, where tickets own a secondary market average of $274.42 and the get-in price is $59. Five other shows average above $200, including stops at AT&T Center in San Antonio ($244.78 avg./$70.70 get-in) and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CN ($230.49 avg./$89 get-in).

Conversely, a stop at Cajundome in Lafayette, LA on February 3 is garnering the least expensive ticket prices of the tour. The average secondary market price for that show is currently $101.55 and the cheapest ticket is listed for $29. Other least expensive stops include Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, AR ($107.74 avg./$67 get-in) and PPL Center in Allentown, PA ($130.92 avg./$48 get-in).

Def Leppard Announce U.S Tour, Stream New Single From Upcoming Album

(ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED 10/19/15) Seminal British heavy metal band Def Leppard have revealed plans for a brief U.S. tour run early next year. The group is also streaming their new song, "Dangerous", from the forthcoming self-titled album that hits stores November 27. Listen to the new single below.

The short stateside jaunt will once again feature Styx and Tesla and officially launches on January 27 at Greensboro Coliseum. 13 dates in total are scheduled through February 17. "Dangerous" is the second song the band has revealed ahead of the album's release date, with their lead track, "Let's Go", dropping last month.
