(UPDATE 2/25/16) It has been a monumental return for pop rock band Fall Out Boy, who have released two No. 1 albums on the U.S. Billboard 200 since reuniting in 2013. The band's latest effort, American Beauty/American Psycho, will receive the tour treatment this spring, and the Chicago natives are calling upon PVRIS and AWOLNATION for the "Wintour Is Coming" Tour. The month-long jaunt begins in Puerto Rico tonight, and Fall Out Boy tickets on the secondary market are posting a big demand for the spring run of shows.
According to TicketIQ the average secondary market price for Fall Out Boy tickets with PVRIS and AWOLNATION is now $175.15, making the tour one of the most expensive of the spring. Seven of the 20 scheduled shows are averaging above $200, while all but one show exceeds the $100 ticket average. Fall Out Boy Announce 2016 Tour Dates with AWOLNATION, PVRIS
(ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED 10/13/15) Pop rockers Fall Out Boy will be hitting the open road this winter. The "Centuries" creators on Monday announced 2016 dates for the "Wintour Is Coming" Tour, which will be co-headlined by fellow rock acts AWOLNATION and PVRIS. The international run begins in Puerto Rico on February 25 and will wind through the U.S. until late-March. 20 dates in total are scheduled over the month-long jaunt.
Coliseo De Puerto Rico welcomes the first and only international show and will be followed by a stateside launch at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida the following night. Among other cities the tour will hit include New York, Chicago, Des Moines, Memphis, New Orleans and Phoenix. It officially wraps on March 26 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. 19 U.S. dates are scheduled in total.
