AC/DC & Justin Bieber Dominate This Week's Most Expensive Concerts List

Here's two names you don't often hear in the same sentence: AC/DC and Justin Bieber are this week's biggest performers on the secondary market. The iconic Australian rock band and Canadian pop singer make up four of this week's top-priced shows, and fans can expect to be paying big for tickets. Elton John rounds off the list with a show at Germain Arena in Florida on Wednesday.

3/08/16 AC/DC @ Philips Arena | Avg. Price: $534.34 | Get-in: $297

The Rock or Bust World Tour continues for AC/DC, and the band's show at Philips Arena in Atlanta on Tuesday is generating big demand on the resale market. The average price for AC/DC tickets on the secondary market for the Atlanta-based show is now $534.34, making it the top-priced show of the week. If looking just to get past the turnstile the cheapest ticket is listed for $297. The Rock or Bust Tour continues in North America through April 4, when it wraps with a show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

3/11/16 AC/DC @ BB&T Center | Avg. Price: $481.42 | Get-in: $164

AC/DC appear again on this week's top-priced concerts list when they head to Florida's BB&T Center for a show on Friday. The band's show in Sunrise now owns a secondary market average of $481.82 and the get-in price starts from $164. Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown support on all North American dates through next month.

It will be a monumental spring and summer for Justin Bieber, who sets to embark on his Purpose World Tour this weekend. The 64-show trek in support of the singer's fourth studio album kicks off on Wednesday at Key Arena in Seattle, and the show serves as the third most expensive concert of the week on the secondary market. Justin Bieber tickets on the Purpose World Tour currently average north of $450 on the resale market, and his inaugural gig in Seattle this Wednesday owns an average price for $420.50. The cheapest ticket is listed for $218.

3/11/16 Justin Bieber @ Rogers Arena | Avg. Price: $395.08 | Get-in: $202

The Ontario native will hop the border for a show at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on Friday in what will be the fourth priciest concert this week. Tickets to the Western Canada show now average $395.08 and the get-in price starts from $202. The Purpose World Tour will run in the U.S. and Canada through July 19, and like AC/DC, wrap at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Bieber will then embark on a European leg between August and November in support of his recently released album.

Elton John appears on this week's most expensive concerts list when he hits Germain Arena in Florida on Wednesday. The "Rocket Man" singer is slated to make several stops around the U.S. this spring away from Million Dollar Piano Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Elton John tickets on the secondary market for his show at Germain Arena now average $297.42 and the cheapest ticket starts from $126. Nine dates are scheduled outside of Vegas through the end of the month.
