A small joint tour is in order for indie heavyweights Death Cab for Cutie and CHVRCHES this summer. The two forces will team up for eight shows between June and July and primarily make east coast stops over the month-long trek.
The tour launches on June 7 at Cleveland's Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica and concludes on July 7 at Stir Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Other stops along the short jaunt include The National in Richmond, Virginia, St. Augustine Amphitheatre in Florida and Uptown Amphtiheater in Charlotte. Pure Bathing Culture will support on most dates.
Tickets to all shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. local time. Presales, ranging from Spotify member access to Citi cardholders, begin on Tuesday and will run through Thursday at 10 p.m. local time.
The co-headlining dates come in the heart of extensive touring patterns for both bands. Death Cab for Cutie continue supporting Kintsugi with an international run of shows starting later this week and running through early June. CHVRCHES begin an international run on the Parahoy! Cruise with Paramore this weekend and will play select dates in the U.S., England, Scotland and Germany before teaming up with Death Cab.
