A Look at Prices for Elton John Tickets During His 2016 Run Outside of Las Vegas

(UPDATE 3/10/16) Elton John launched his brief tour away from Las Vegas at Germain Arena in Florida last night, and the 68-year-old will make eight more stops in the U.S. through the end of the month. Touring in support of his recently released album Wonderful Crazy Night and breaking from his usual stay at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the "Rocket Man" singer is drawing big demand for tickets on the secondary market across the three-week tour.

According to TicketIQ, the average resale price for Elton John tickets along his March run of shows is $251.55. John makes his top-priced stop on March 23 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. That gig currently owns a secondary market average of $364.94, 45% above tour average. If looking just to get in the cheapest ticket is currently listed for $142.88.

The least expensive show will be held on March 18 at Berglund Center Coliseum in Roanoke, Virginia. The average secondary market price for Elton John tickets in Virginia is $80.29 and the get-in price starts at $40. It will be the only show where tickets average below $100 on the resale price.

Elton John To Tour Outside of Las Vegas in March

Elton John will be stepping away from Las Vegas in the springtime. The iconic musician has held a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace since 2011 and will play his 12th leg there next month, but he'll hit the road for a string of U.S. tour dates in March.

The "Tiny Dancer" singer kicks things off on March 9 at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida and will conclude two weeks later at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Seven dates in total are scheduled over the short stretch.
