Marilyn Manson & Slipknot to Embark on Mask & Makeup-Filled Summer Tour
March 4, 2016
Break out the jumpsuit and slap on the face mask, Marilyn Manson and Slipknot are linking up for one of the biggest hard rock tours this summer. The two iconic metal groups hit the road together for a two-month run between June and August, with Manson breaking in-between for festival stops at Rock USA, Rock Fest and Chicago Open Air in July.
The amplifier-heavy action kicks off on June 9 at USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City and concludes on August 5 at Wells Fargo Arena in Slipknot's native Des Moines. 34 joint dates are scheduled over the summer run, with the majority of shows being held in amphitheaters across the U.S. Fellow heavy metal act Of Mice and Men will join at select dates.
Tickets to all summer shows are now on sale to the general public. Manson hits the the road in support of 2015's studio effort The Pale Emperor while Slipknot continues to tour their 2014 album .5 The Gray Chapter.
Manson and Slipknot's joint run will be one of three hard rock concerts listed under Live Nation's "Ticket to Rock" tour this summer. Also including Rob Zombie and Korn and Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin's respective co-headlining tours, Ticket to Rock will offer tickets to all three shows in select cities for one fixed price of $50, giving fans the ultimate bang for their buck this summer.
