Make it two for Noel Gallagher and Ryan Adams this summer. The two musicians are teaming up for a pair of U.S. shows in July. Gallagher hits the stage with his band The High Flying Birds while Adams will be with his current band The Shining.
The brief run will kick off on July 12 at Rochester Hills Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills, MI. The following night the duo will play Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA. Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 25 at 10 a.m. More shows are expected to be announced at a later date.
Gallagher is perhaps best known for his work in the English rock band Oasis, who found critical acclaim in the mid-'90s with the commercially successful albums (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. Ryan Adams has led a prominent solo career since leaving the alternative country band Whiskeytown. He recently created his own version of Taylor Swift's latest album 1989, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in September.
