According to TicketIQ the average resale price for tickets to Thursday night's decisive Game 7 is now $267.67. That marks a 16% dip below the series average of $331.23. It falls just under the Game 5 average price of $271.85, which last served as the cheapest game of the series on average. The cheapest ticket is listed from $179.
Not only is tonight's game the cheapest of the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals, but it is also the third cheapest Game 7 this postseason. In fact, two games in the Quarterfinal and Conference Semifinal rounds were more expensive on average, both involving the St. Louis Blues. The team's Semifinal Game 7 against the Dallas Stars owned a $301.11 average while its Quarterfinal Game 7 against the Chicago Blackhawks was the most expensive at an average price of $319.59.

The Lightning are looking to advance to their second straight Stanley Cup Final with a win tonight. They have found much success in the absence of captain Steven Stamkos, who has been sidelined with a blood clot near his right collarbone throughout the duration of the postseason. The Penguins have the opportunity to enter the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2009, when they defeated the Detroit Red Wings in seven games for their third title in franchise history.
