Radiohead's Two MSG Shows Top This Week's Most Expensive Concerts List
July 25, 2016
Midtown Manhattan will be receiving a double dose of Radiohead this week, as the rockers hit Madison Square Garden for back-to-back shows on Tuesday and Wednesday. Though the "Creep" creators will be playing shows across the globe all summer long, the MSG gigs will be just two of four scheduled shows in the U.S. during that time. Such a small scale of shows is certainly impacting ticket prices on the secondary market, and the band leads the way on this week's most expensive concerts list.
Check out the complete list below, according to TicketIQ:
7/26/16 Radiohead @ Madison Square Garden | Avg. Price: $549.59 | Get-in: $266
Tuesday's show will be the more expensive of the pair, with Radiohead tickets at Madison Square Garden now averaging $549.59 and the get-in price starting from $266. The band's 2016 World Tour will be its first since 2012.
7/27/16 Radiohead @ Madison Square Garden | Avg. Price: $542.50 | Get-in: $234
It will be cheaper to attend Wednesday night's gig in Manhattan, but not by much. As it stands now the average resale price for tickets is $542.50, less than 5% cheaper than Tuesday night. Hoping just to get past the gates? The cheapest ticket is currently listed from $234.
7/30/16 Adele @ SAP Center | Avg. Price: $523.74 | Get-in: $206
As has been the case each week since her North American leg kicked off earlier this month, Adele will also perform in one of the most expensive concerts through Sunday. The singer is slated to play SAP Center in San Jose on Saturday, where Adele tickets on the secondary market average $523.74 and the get-in price is $206. Her 2016 World Tour continues its U.S. and Canadian run through mid-November.
7/27/16 Drake & Future @ United Center | Avg. Price: $278.27 | Get-in: $119
The Summer Sixteen Tour continues this week for Drake and Future, who will play two top-priced shows at United Center in Chicago. The duo's show there Wednesday will be the more expensive of the pair, with Drake tickets in Chicago averaging $278.27. The cheapest ticket is now listed from $119.
7/26/16 Drake & Future @ United Center | Avg. Price: $266.70 | Get-in: $110
