The end of an era is near in Los Angeles. Iconic broadcaster Vin Scully, widely acclaimed as "The Voice of the Dodgers", will officially retire at the end of the 2016 MLB season, and the Dodgers will celebrate his illustrious career over three games at Dodger Stadium this weekend. Two of those games will be among this week's top-priced games, while the Cubs and Blue Jays also appear on the list for home games against the Cardinals and Yankees, respectively.

While the weekend series with the Rockies begins on Thursday, the celebration of Scully's 65-year career with the Dodgers kicks off Friday night. Being dubbed "Vin Scully Appreciation Day", the 88-year-old announcer will be honored in a pregame ceremony in Chavez Ravine. Scully will not be announcing during Dodgers playoff games, so the team's final homestand of the regular season will be his last games at Dodger Stadium.

The NL Central is wrapped up, but that won't stop Cubs fans from paying top dollar for remaining games at Wrigley Field during the regular season. The Cubbies set to host the Cardinals over three games this weekend, and Saturday's game serves as the second most expensive game of the week. Cubs tickets against the Cardinals are averaging $175 and the cheapest are listed from $94 each. It will be a vital series for the Cardinals as they continue to push for a Wild Card spot.

Friday night's Cubs-Cardinals game will be the fourth most expensive game this week. The first 10,000 early arriving fans will receive a special Cubs Night Light upon entering the stadium. Cubs vs. Cardinals tickets on Friday own a resale market average of $159 and the cheapest is listed at $81.

Rounding out this week's top-priced games list will be a Saturday matinee between the Blue Jays and Yankees at Rogers Centre. With the Blue Jays well in the playoff hunt, they'll hope to bury the stumbling Yankees for good over the weekend.
