Lady Gaga Schedules Mini Dive Bar Tour for October
October 4, 2016
With just weeks before her new album, Joanne is released, Lady Gaga has scheduled a mini dive bar tour for later this month. The Bud Light x Lady Gaga Dive Bar Tour lists just three dates so far and includes October 5th, 20th, and 27th. The first show, scheduled for this Wednesday, will take place at undisclosed U.S. venue and will be live streamed via Facebook Live at 10 p.m. EST. Gaga will also debut the new and previously unheard song "Million Reasons," at Wednesday's performance.
Joanne was named in honor of Gaga's aunt, her father's sister, who died at age 19. Joanne also is Gaga's middle name.
Although Gaga has previously play major arena tours in the past, Joanne may mark an era of the pop singer playing smaller, more intimate venues. Regardless, Gaga is penned to perform at The Super Bowl halftime show this February at the NRG Stadium in Houston. The venue seats 72,220 people, and generally speaking, the performance is broadcast to over 100 million people every year. The performance will be Gaga's biggest to date, and already, tickets for the Super Bowl are averaging a whopping $4590 on the resale market.
