Pink Floyd's Roger Waters has announced a solo tour in 2017 in order to address societal, political and cultural divisiveness. The Us + Them Tour is scheduled to make at least 40 stops across the U.S. and Canada beginning May 26 in Kansas City. It will wrap up in Los Angeles following two performances on June 20 and 21 at the Staples Center.

Tickets for the Us + Them tour go on sale October 21, although a Citi pre-sale begins today, October 17.

The new tour marks Waters' first solo outing since his 2010-13 tour, The Wall Live, in which he performed much of Pink Floyd’s 1979 concept album The Wall. The tour grossed a whopping $458 million across 219 performances and remains one of the highest-grossing concert tours in history. The resale market saw impressively expensive tickets across the run, averaging $244 throughout the stretch. His priciest shows were in cities like Denver, Houston, Phoenix, and New York City. Following the pre-sale, resale tickets to see Roger Waters in 2017 are averaging $304.

The Us + Them Tour is Roger Waters' first tour not themed around a specific Pink Floyd album since the early 2000s.
