As Win Streak Continues, Cowboys Are America's Most Sought-After NFL Ticket
November 16, 2016
It's been all smiles in Arlington this season, as the Dallas Cowboys have cruised to an 8-1 record under rookie quarterback Dak Prescott. The Cowboys return home on the heels of back-to-back road wins against the Browns and Steelers, pushing their win streak to eight straight entering Sunday's contest with Ravens. The Cowboys' recent success is being reflected on the secondary ticket market, too, as the team will play in five of the ten most expensive remaining regular season NFL games.

Though the Patriots play in the two most expensive remaining games this season, the Cowboys will host three top-priced games while also drawing big demand on the road against the Vikings and Giants. Cowboys tickets on TicketIQ over those five games are averaging $518. A December 18 meeting currently offers the cheapest available tickets for a Cowboys game this season at $46 each.
The Cowboys' success this season is impacting the resale market so much that 2016 has been the team's most expensive season of the last five years. Over all eight home games at AT&T Stadium, the average resale price for Cowboys tickets in 2016 is $416, 47 percent higher than the team's previous season high of $284 in 2014.

Heading into Week 11, the Cowboys are off to their best start since the 2007 season, when they also went 8-1 over their first nine games. They've relied on the talent of the budding Prescott, who shined in the absence of long-tenured quarterback Tony Romo to grab the starting position, and fellow rookie Ezekiel Elliot, a strong early candidate for the Rookie of the Year Award. A postseason berth appears imminent, and fans can expect to continue paying up for tickets should the Cowboys make a legitimate run through the month of January.
