Mariah Carey @ The Beacon Theatre (December 5-17)

There's probably no way to escape the holiday season without hearing Mariah Carey’s iconic hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You,” at least one time. For fans traveling to New York City, the best place to hear the song live is at the Beacon Theatre, where the 46-year-old singer will perform nine times across a two week period. The third annual Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You special will take place on December 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16 & 17 and tickets are available here. The beginning of November marked the 20th anniversary of Carey’s 1994 holiday release, Merry Christmas. The disc has sold over 15 million copies worldwide and is the most successful Christmas album of all time.

Z100's Jingle Ball @ Madison Square Garden (December 9)

It wouldn’t be another holiday season without the world’s biggest pop stars taking the stage. The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour will swing into Madison Square Garden on December 9, and the lineup is massive. Now in it’s 16th year, this year’s roster includes Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, Ellie Goulding, Diplo, Charlie Puth, Lukas Graham, Daya, DNCE, and a special guest appearance from One Direction’s Niall Horan. Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor & Sarah McLachlan @ The Barclays Center (December 9)

On December 9, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, and Sarah McLachlan will join forces for “Holiday in Brooklyn,” at The Barclays Center. CBS-FM’s on-air personalities Scott Shannon, Dan Taylor, Bill Lee, Joe Causi and more will be on stage to introduce the live performances. Tickets for Holiday in Brooklyn start at just $54 through

Phish @ Madison Square Garden (December 28-31)

Legendary jam band Phish will return to The Garden on December 28, 29, 30 & 31 to ring in the New Year with fans all across the country. Phish's upcoming four-night run marks the band's 39th concert at MSG, and will continue the band's legacy of selling out shows in the final days of the year. The band's first New Year's show at Madison Square Garden occurred in 1995, and has continued numerous times over the years including 1997, 1998, their hiatus comeback in 2002, and four straight years from 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015. Tickets to see Phish at Madison Square Garden start at $66, and a 4-day pass to all shows can be purchased for $1,995.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular: The Rockettes

It doesn’t get more iconic than The Rockettes in New York City. Since 1933, the holiday show has put on countless classic Christmas spectacles with stunning Rockettes dance numbers and state-of-the-art technology. The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes is running now through January 2, and tickets to all upcoming shows average $216 on the secondary market. The Nutcracker @ The David H. Koch Theater (November 25-December 31)

George Balanchine's The Nutcracker is one of the most beloved Christmas shows of all time. This year’s production will mark the 62nd annual performance, and will take the stage from November 25 through December 31 at the David H Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. The show includes a whopping 90 dancers, 62 musicians, 32 stagehands, as well as two casts of 50 young students from the School of American Ballet. Louis C.K. @ Madison Square Garden (December 14 & 16)

For NYC visitors looking for more laughs and less holiday cheer, funny man Louis C.K. will take his comedy show to Madison Square Garden on December 14 and December 16 this holiday season. Expect to hear lots of post-election talk from the outspoken Trump adversary, as well as an hour packed of jokes and emotional reprieve. New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics @ Madison Square Garden (December 25)

The Boston Celtics will square off against The New York Knicks on Christmas Day at Madison Square Garden, marking Boston's first Christmas game since 2012. The Xmas Day game is the more expensive of the two games against the Celtics at MSG this season, with tickets to see the Knicks averaging $568. The game is their first Yuletide since 2013, so there's big demand to see them after a three-year absence.

WWE Live Holiday Tour @ The Barclays Center (December 28)

The WWE Live Holiday Tour is coming to Brooklyn on December 28, packed with WWE Superstars including Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens in a WWE Universal Championship Match, and Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho in a Brooklyn Street Fight. The show will also feature WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Fatal Four Way Match with New Day, Enzo Amore & Big Cass, Cesaro & Sheamus, and Gallows & Anderson.
