Tips For Buying Super Bowl 58 Tickets

  • Monitor the market. Look at the prices on the secondary market for Super Bowl tickets multiple times daily and pick a price point you’re willing to pay.

  • Track quantity available for the game overall, but also in the section you're most interested in sitting in.

  • If you're shopping at the get-in price level, the best time to buy is usually 6-8 days after the Conference Championships.

  • In the days leading up to the game, if you find tickets in your price range that you like, jump on them. There have been many times over the last several years that fans waited too long for a price drop that never happened and eventually got priced out. As the quantity of tickets available goes down over the final days leading up to the game, prices begin to go up, especially for lower-priced seats.

  • Read this TicketIQ blog post that is updated multiple times a day for the latest data, ticket price, and quantity trends.

  • Reach out to us on our live chat to see if we can help you find the best deals or if any promo codes are available. Our live chat can be found on this post and our main Super Bowl pages.
  • Use promo code SB5 for 5% off any order!

When Is The Best Time To Buy Super Bowl Tickets?

Before 2015, the best time to buy Super Bowl tickets was usually the day or two before the game; however, since the 2016 game, that has changed significantly. Excluding 2021's reduced capacity game, the best time to purchase Super Bowl tickets over the last few years, especially at the get-in price level, was between 6 and 8 days after the conference championship games.

That trend continued this year, as prices appear to have hit their floor 6 days after the conference championship games. Since then, the get-in price has gone up 19%, the average price has gone up 3%, and ticket quantity is down 28%.

Will Super Bowl Ticket Prices Go Down?

Since we started tracking Super Bowl data, the get-in price has dropped an average of 12% between Championship Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday. If you exclude the 2020 game, which is the only Super Bowl in that timeframe that saw an increase of more than 10%, the average drop in price is 21%.

page-1-Feb-11-2024-02-42-13-2719-PM

Trends are similar for the first week following the championship games in terms of overall average list price, which has dropped an average of 25% between Championship Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday. However, unlike the get-in, those prices continue to creep down over the final seven days leading up to the game, usually due to inventory in certain higher-priced sections selling out. Overall, in the final week leading up to Super Bowl Sunday, the average list price has dropped 13%. We don't suggest waiting too long if you're looking at more expensive tickets that you like AND are in your price range. If you wait too long, there is a good chance this kind of seat will be sold out.

How Will Your Super Bowl Tickets Be Delivered?

All tickets for Super Bowl 58 will be delivered via Mobile Transfer, whether purchased two months before the game or right before kick-off on game day. To accept your mobile transfer, follow these steps:

STEP ONE:

Check your email. Once you’ve received an email confirmation from us that your seats have been sent, you’ll want to head to your inbox to find the claim email. That transfer offer email will come from the sender name "NFL Super Bowl" or "Ticketmaster."

After finding the claim email in your inbox, you’ll want to click “Accept Tickets” in order to accept your Super Bowl LVIII tickets and have them in your account to be pulled up on your smartphone when you’re heading into the game.

STEP THREE:

Sign in with the email address to which your transfer was sent.

If you have a Ticketmaster account with that email address, you can use the same login credentials. If not, click SIGN UP at the bottom to create an account with the email address to which the tickets were sent.

STEP FOUR:

Download the Official NFL OnePass app on your smartphone.

STEP FIVE:

Select Sign in to OnePass and sign in using the email address. Then select "Tickets" on the bottom toolbar.

NOTE:

In order to avoid any issues at the stadium (with connectivity over WiFi or data), we recommend adding the tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet to view later.  You’ll be able to open the tickets from your Wallet once at the stadium, and that’s it.
