Warriors & Nuggets Clash in Priciest NBA Game Before All-Star Break
February 13, 2017
With Kevin Durant's homecoming now in the rearview, the Warriors will again play in a pair of top-priced games before the All-Star break begins this weekend. The team will take on the Nuggets in the most expensive game this week before traveling home to host the Kings in the second priciest matchup before the weekend. The Timberwolves, Lakers and Suns also set to host top-priced games against the Cavaliers, Kings and Lakers, respectively.
Below is a top games breakdown, according to data provided by TicketIQ:

2/13/17 Golden State Warriors @ Denver Nuggets | Average Resale Price: $392.59 | Get-in Price: $53
The Warriors continue to steamroll through the regular season, and they next head to Denver to take on the Nuggets. The elevated altitude did not affect Golden State when Steve Kerr’s squad played on the second night of a back-to-back on November 10. Nuggets tickets at Pepsi Center currently average $393 and the get-in price is $53. Heading into Monday, the Nuggets, who recently acquired Mason Plumlee from the Trail Blazers, have alternated losses and wins in their seven February games, and they will look to continue to do so as they try to upset the Warriors in their last trip to Denver this regular season.
2/15/17 Sacramento Kings @ Golden State Warriors | Average Resale Price: $243.83 | Get-in Price: $64
The Warriors then head home to host the Sacramento Kings. The teams have split their first two meetings this season, with the most recent contest ending in a Kings’ 109-106 overtime victory earlier this month. The win snapped Sacramento’s three-game losing streak. Warriors tickets against the Kings currently average $244 and the get-in price is $64, as the DeMarcus Cousins and Matt Barnes again look for double-doubles in an upset of the Warriors.
2/14/17 Cleveland Cavaliers @ Minnesota Timberwolves | Average Resale Price: $219.28 | Get-in Price: $32
On Tuesday at Target Center, the Timberwolves will face the Cavaliers for the second time in two weeks. On February 1, Cleveland received double-doubles from LeBron James, Tristan Thompson and Kyrie Irving, as the Cavaliers defeated the visiting Timberwolves, 125-97. Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers tickets currently start from $32 each and average $219, as Minnesota looks to build on its recent success.
2/14/17 Sacramento Kings @ Los Angeles Lakers | Average Resale Price: $198 | Get-in Price: $48
Also on Tuesday, the Lakers host the Kings for the first time this season at Staples Center, where those who purchase tickets will receive a Lakers stuffed animal. The teams have split the season series thus far with the most recent contest resulting in a Kings blowout victory. Lakers tickets on TicketIQ currently average $198, and the cheapest available tickets start from $48 each. Sacramento will look to add to its winning streak, as the team plays on first night of its back-to-back.
2/15/17 Los Angeles Lakers @ Phoenix Suns | Average Resale Price: $194.65 | Get-in Price: $15
The Lakers have played well on the road very recently, as they won against the Knicks and Bucks, but their road record has been very poor this season. Los Angeles and Phoenix each won a game against each other this season, and the Suns won a high-scoring affair at Staples Center in December. Suns tickets at Talking Stick Resort Arena average $195 and the get-in price is $15. As Phoenix heads into a two-game homestand before the All-Star break, the Suns will look to build on Friday’s victory against the visiting Bulls.
