Previewing Prices for 2017 NCAA Tournament Tickets: West Region
March 15, 2017
The road to the Final Four in the West region goes through San Jose, California at the SAP Center. While Sweet 16 and Elite 8 action will be emanating from the home of the San Jose Sharks, fans can catch Round 1 and 2 action in Salt Lake City, Buffalo and Orlando.
The top four seeds in this region, Gonzaga, Arizona, Florida State, and West Virginia, will have tough matchups early on and will need to fight to stay alive. This regional championship may come down to Arizona and Gonzaga, which would be boon for the secondary ticket market.
On TicketIQ, an ‘All-Sessions Pass’ for the San Jose region currently starts at $245, which is the second highest get-in ticket price for this year’s tournament. That may be the case due to the anticipation of those top two seeds making it to the end of the region, and being on a collision course to decide who makes it to the Final Four.

With the Final Four being held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, there is some extra motivation for Arizona. The Wildcats have arguably one of the most favorable paths to the Final Four, but may have to avenge an early-season loss to Gonzaga to make this vision a reality. Earlier this season, Gonzaga defeated Arizona, 69-62, at the Staples Center, with the Wildcats making only one three-pointer in the loss. Regardless if it comes down to those two schools, expect a thrilling region of fast-paced, exciting games.
