Eddie Vedder has announced a handful of 2022 tour dates with his new band The Earthlings. The short 8-date tour will kick off on February 3rd and 4th at the Beacon Theatre in New York. The tour will then make stops in Newark, NJ, Chicago, San Diego, and Los Angeles, before wrapping things up with two shows in Seattle on February 21st and 22nd at Benaroya Hall.
The Earthlings are made up of Chad Smith (of Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums, Josh Klinghoffer (of Pearl Jam) on guitar and keyboard, Chris Chaney (of Jane’s Addiction) on bass, Glen Hansard (of The Swell Season) on guitars and vocals, and Andrew Watt on guitar.
The tour is in supports of Vedder's new solo album, Earthling.
Following this tour, Vedder will rejoin Pearl Jam for a 2022 tour starting in May. The tour will include all 2020 postponed shows. On their Instagram, Pearl Jam posted that they "are confirming that the previously scheduled shows in North America will start in May 2022" and they "are working to finalize the details of the new tour schedule and will announce the dates early next year."
