Hartford Athletic returns for its third season in franchise history after a tremendous performance in Group F in 2020. Hartford finished last season as the best northeastern team; the Athletic registered a record of 11-3-2 with a goal differential of positive seven. The Athletic edged out Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC by one point in the standings.
The USL Championship plans to begin its season in April or May 2021. The 32-game USL Championship regular season will finish in October, and the playoffs will be held in November.

Dillon Stadium Attendance Policy
The Athletic will be playing at Dillon Stadium in Hartford, Connecticut for the third consecutive season. Dillon Stadium hosted 40 percent capacity (2,200 fans) for the team’s 1-0 loss to Saint Louis FC in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals last year. Hartford supporters hope that at least 2,200 fans can be in attendance when the UCL season kicks off at Dillon Stadium.
