On Monday, Cyrus [posted](https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/miley-cyrus-rockin-2020-music-164612426.html) on her Instagram account "New Hair. New Year. NEW MUSIC." along with a series of photos. She also posted a tweet that showed her having a Facetime session with musician Andrew Watt, which suggests the two could be collaborating.  Cyrus released the EP "She Is Coming" in 2019, followed by "My Sad Christmas," which is believed to be in reference to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. Though Cyrus didn't announce a tour in her post, she will be performing at the [Bottlerock Festival](https://blog.ticketiq.com/blog/cheapest-tickets-bottlerock-napa-valley-festival) in Napa in May.
