Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival has announced its 2017 lineup, which will feature partial owner and producer Justin Timberlake at the top of the bill. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, as well as Ryan Adams will also lead the roster. The third-annual festival will take place from September 23-24 in Franklin, Tennessee and will feature other names like the Avett Brothers, Walk the Moon, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, Shovels & Rope and Amanda Shires.
Pilgrimage Festival tickets are now on sale directly through the main site. A GA two-day pass (Tier One) is currently listed at $175. 2-Day VIP passes are sold out. Passes are also available through the resale market, where fans can snag a weekend pass for $490.
While music festivals are practically a dime a dozen in 2017, Pilgrimage stands apart from others with a pop star like Timberlake at the top of the bill. As of now, the festival appearance will serve as the 36-year-old's lone performance scheduled for the year, and his proximity to home, as well as his massive popularity, will likely pull fans in from around the country. According to its post-event release, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival saw 15,000 attendees each of its two days in 2016.
The last time Justin Timberlake hit the road was for his epic The 20/20 Experience World Tour, which ran from November 6, 2013 in New York City to January 2, 2015 in Las Vegas. The 20/20 Experience World Tour grossed $231.6 million from 134 shows and went on to become the second highest-grossing tour of 2014. It was the pop star's highest grossing to tour to date.
