Kendrick Lamar plots 2017 'DAMN.' Tour Dates

Modern Rap God Kendrick Lamar is ready to set the stage on fire this summer with the announcement of his 17-city DAMN. tour.

After headlining the 2017 Coachella festival alongside Lady Gaga, Lamar will take Travis Scott and D.R.A.M. throughout the US in support of Lamar’s latest album also entitled “DAMN.” in what is unquestionably the most sought after ticket in rap and hip hop this summer.

As of May 11th, over 25,000 tickets for Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN.” tour have made their way onto the secondary market, with over 2,000 tickets available for each of Kendrick’s performances at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center, and the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The Canadian and Pacific Northwest Tour Dates currently have the smallest market. Less than 500 tickets are listed for the August 2nd performance at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena with the Tacoma Dome the nght before sporting less than 700.

Lamar and crew will do 3 nights at the legendary Staples Center in Los Angeles, close to the rapper’s home town of Compton, California and those carry the highest secondary market prices according to TicketIQ.com. The Sunday August 6th performance is the priciest of the trio, with average ticket price costing $393 and cheapest ticket going for $114. Two nights later costs an average of $230 with cheapest seat listed for $110. Night 3 on August 9th is the cheapest of the set, with an average ticket price of $214 and $99 to get in the door.

Conversely, Detroit’s Palace of Auburn Hills is the tour’s cheapest date. The July 26th stop at the home of the Detroit Pistons will cost an average of $151. The next two cheapest dates are The Gila River Arena in Arizona ($166 average price) and the aforementioned Wells Fargo Center at a $175 average ticket price.
