How Much Are 2019 Vanderbilt Football Tickets

Vanderbilt will debut a new quarterback this season after Kyle Shurmur graduated, and the hope is that sixth-year coach Derek Mason will finally be able to put together a winning season. The Commodores won only three games last season, but among them was a victory over arch-rival Tennessee, and they got to a bowl game.

Vanderbilt opens at home with two SEC rivals. The two priciest home games of the season, the Commodores host Georgia on August 31in the home opener, and play LSU on September 21. Outside of Alabama, those teams represent the cream of the crop in the SEC, and fans have pushed prices to $125 or higher on the secondary market. Every other game at Vanderbilt Stadium can be had for an average asking price of $32 or less, and the cheapest ticket to five of the seven home games can be had for less than $10.

Overall, the average price for a ticket to a Vanderbilt home game is $60 on the secondary market, right around last year's mark of $61 per ticket.

Ticket Prices For All Vanderbilt Home Games On The 2019 Schedule

August 31 vs. Georgia Bulldogs 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $156/$95

Coming off two consecutive CFP appearances β€” the Bulldogs got to the title game in 2017 and lost in the semifinals last season β€” this game has the highest average asking price. Georgia has beaten Vanderbilt 16 times since 2000, including the last two consecutive.

September 21 vs. Louisiana State Tigers 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $145/$87

The only other game with a price tag of more than $100, these teams last played in 2010 and LSU has won seven consecutive dating to 1991. The Tigers are coming off a 10-3 season and a Fiesta Bowl victory.

September 28 vs. Northern Illinois Huskies 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $11/$4

After opening with two SEC East foes, Vanderbilt gets a break at home, and fans do, too, as this game is the cheapest of the season. Northern Illinois and Vanderbilt have played only three times previously, most recently in 1999. Vanderbilt won all three games.

October 12 vs. UNLV Rebels 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $12/$3

Fans can get into this game for less than the price of a cup of Starbucks, and overall, it’s the second cheapest game of the season on the secondary market. UNLV and Vanderbilt have never played before.

October 19 vs. Missouri Tigers 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $22/$5

The Commodores resume SEC home play with the fourth cheapest game of the season. And the cheapest tickets for the game are a real bargain. These teams have played consistently since 2012, though their first meeting dates to 1895. Missouri has won the last three and holds a 7-3-1 all-time series advantage.

November 16 vs. Kentucky Wildcats 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $32/$9

Regional rivals dating to 1896, Kentucky and Vanderbilt are situated less than 200 miles apart, and have played 91 times. Though not the biggest rivalry for either team, the game still merits rivalry status. The series is relatively even, though Kentucky holds a 45-42-4 all-time series advantage.

November 23 vs. East Tennessee State Buccaneers 🎟️

Secondary market average asking price/cheapest ticket: $13/$5

The last home game of the season is also the third cheapest of the season. The game is the first of two between the teams. The second is set for 2021, also in Nashville. There is no record of a prior meeting between these teams.
